Hey, y’all! I’m Sandy, a Latinx DACA recipient, an activist, and a storyteller.

I’m from a few places. I was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico; raised in Houston, Texas, and I currently live in the middle of nowhere Illinois.

If you’re here, you are probably interested in learning more about the reality of the immigrant community in the US, you’re curious about my personal experience, or you’re my mom. Just kidding, my mom can’t read English.
